| The Springfield Harp Studio is the only school of its kind in Missouri, and one of only a handful in the United States. Lessons are available for children as young as 3 years old. Older students (including adults) may also take lessons with an approach that blends Suzuki teaching and traditional music instruction. |

Springfield Harp Studio's teacher, Jeremy Chesman, is on the music faculty at Missouri State University, and holds a doctoral degree in music. He has performed with the Springfield Symphony, Greater Lansing (MI) Symphony, Michigan Opera Works, and in numerous chamber and solo performances. Dr. Chesman is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, and continues to receive training to refine his skills as a Suzuki Harp teacher. He is the only registered Suzuki harp (and Suzuki organ) teacher in Missouri. |
